Year 11 Drama Club students have taken First Place in the Lancashire Constabulary annual competition ‘Northern Beat’, winning a prize of £500.
The competition took place at the Lancaster Grand Theatre, where over 5,000 students competed for their chance to shine. Our Year 11 students presented a hard hitting piece, titled ‘Number 4’, which was based on domestic violence and its effects on young people.
‘Northern Beat’ encourages young people to create drama based on positive relationships within their community. We are very proud of what our Year 11 students have achieved.
