Can I have a look around school?
We can arrange for you to have a tour of the school during term time with a member of our Senior Leadership Team. If you are interested in having a look around, please contact our school reception.
Can I take my child on holiday during school time?
Holidays during term time will NOT be authorised. Please check our school holiday dates before confirming your holiday.
What happens if something gets lost?
Please make sure all clothing and equipment is clearly marked with your child’s name so that it can be returned if found.
Can my child bring a mobile device to school?
The school recognises the benefits of mobile devices and will endeavour to allow students to bring the devices to school. However, the responsibility lies on students to follow the guidelines and parents to support them in order to get the best for each and every child in school. The school cannot take responsibility for any loss or damage. Phones must be switched off or set on silent during lessons and must kept out of sight.
Can I apply for free school meals?
If you think that your child is entitled to free school meals, please speak to a member of staff in the office who will help you with your application.
What should I do if my child is going to be absent from school?
Please ring the school absence line on 01253 667411 or message through the MyED app to let us know why your child is going to be absent.
What happens if my child has an accident at school?
Unfortunately, sometimes children do have accidents or become unwell whilst they are at school, in the event of this happening we would need to call you. Please ensure that we have up to date contact details for you.
