Reason to be an "Appy" person!

Sandra Underwood, School Link Coordinator and MFL teacher has been invited to speak about using Apps in the Classroom at the Georgian national eTwinning conference in the country's capital of Tbilisi. Ms Underwood presented at the national conference in the UK in June this year and the participants were impressed with her use of apps that she was asked by the eTwinning National agency and the British Council if she would like to present in December. The opportunity comes after Europe's eTwinning for schools portal expanded to include six new eastern countries including Georgia. The conference takes place December 21-22nd 2013.

eTwinning Plus is an extension of eTwinning to the neighbourhood of Europe. Europe’s Neighbourhood policy was developed in 2004 and has the objective of deepening the relationship between countries in the European Union and those countries in the immediate ‘neighbourhood’.

So which countries are involved?

eTwinning Plus includes six countries from the European neighbourhood – Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova andUkraine, which are part of the Eastern Partnership and Tunisia, which is part of the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership(EUROMED).

Visit http://www.etwinning.net to join and get your school involved!
