Four Y9 LSA students took part in the second round of the Lancashire Book of the Year competition at Ansdell library. Finn Thomson, Kiera Tatton, Aimee Whitehead and Sammi Hilton-Peet gave their verdict on the list of books they had read and decided on their top ten. Their next visit will be to County Hall in May to represent the school and battle it out with the other 12 teams.
Well done too to every pupil in Mrs Rothwell-Morroll's 9Z1 English set for participating in the event. All students have read a variety of books and contributed their opinions by uploading reviews online. They are a credit to themselves and the school!
