7Y1 English enjoyed acting out their own version of Act 1, scene 5, at the Capulet Ball; this included dancing to Tudor tunes and developing mood and atmosphere. This was part of a sequence of lessons: Introduction to Shakespeare.
They enjoyed tracking the tragedy and debating about whether Romeo was ultimately responsible because he attending the Capulet Ball. Most agreed that Tybalt was at fault.
The masks produced were fantastic. This was a superb lesson!
