Have your kids mentioned that the School lunch queues appear to be slightly better of late? Well that could be because there’s a new van in town!!
The PTFA have been fund raising over the last couple of years to provide the catering department with a new mobile van to help alleviate the lunchtime queues. The van has been paid for entirely by funds raised by the PTFA at such events as the Summer Balls, Mother’s Day and other shopping evenings, Christmas Market trips and several quiz and family fun nights. Linda Dickinson the catering manager at LSA said “We are so excited to have this new van and would like to say a big thank you to the PTFA – the new van will definitely provide an excellent service to the students at LSA.”
Thanks to Holly Brown (year 8 student) who designed the rather fabulous new PTFA logo, which is displayed on the van.
