Image of LSA Students get Cryptic!
Well done to the Year 11 Students, Nathaniel Hamilton and Cameron Hughes.
These Enigma club members, who finished in the top 25%, of the national Alan Turing Cryptography Challenge, represented the school at the cryptography day at the University of Manchester.
They successfully decrypted 3 codes, in competition with 300 other code breakers from around the UK, in the university's Alan Turing building.  They also attended an interesting lecture on graphene, the 2-dimensional material, researchers (at the University of Manchester) won the Nobel Prize for developing.
