Tuesday Art Club have a new display in main reception. It commprises creations from the Autumn term 2014. Art Club is an afterschool club and is open to students from year 7, 8 and 9.
The design brief was to create a clay sculpture of your favourite animal, focusing on the head only.
The students researched their chosen animals, and produced drawings from all angles.
They then prepared wire armatures and then applied airdrying clay. The finished shape was then painted.
The results are of a very high standard, and the students should be very proud of their sculptures.
