This year we will be trialling a planner app alongside the paper planner. It is a web based planner also so you can keep up to speed with your childs homework, diary dates etc. The app does not have full functionality yet and we will be continuing to develop this through the year. For example recording of targets, mentoring and uniform still remain in the paper planner.
Students in the sixth form have all been given this app and students in Y7-11 have opted to use it. Please discuss this with your child to see if they have and if so please visit the 'myhomeworkapp' website to see how you can monitor your Childs progress. Some staff are also trialling the app and where this is the case you will see that you can liaise directly with them and staff can send 'announcements' to students.
This is all very much in the early stages of development and we will inform you of any updates as and when they happen. In the meantime please don't hesitate to contact us with any queries. There are a team of student digital leaders working on this with the company based in America on a daily basis. This is another exciting digital development which we hope will support our students through their studies.
