Two of our Year 11 students,  Harry Smith and George Fox scored recent success at the Under 16's National Cerebral Palsy Cup tournament at St.George's Park at the weekend.

The North West team, for which both George and Harry play, competed against various other teams from around the country at a tournament on Saturday. The North West won 2 and drew 1 of their 3 group matches, to take them through to the semi -final where they then beat the team from London to go through to the final.

They had a fantastic final and  won by 3 goals to nil beating South West. This is the second year in a row they have won this tournament to become National Champions and they are unbeaten in the league for over two years.

The team all got an individual FA medal and a fantastic cup (see photo attached)   left Harry Smith right George Fox.  The boys were so proud of themselves and really enjoyed their day.Next year both George and Harry will move up to the senior squad and be playing with some of the players who played for England in the London Olympics!

George's Mother, Debbie, said "It is so good that there is such a well organised, well supported and well financed organisation like the FA providing such great opportunities for children like Harry and George to play sport competitively and on an equal playing field with their peers.
