Y10 GCSE Students Were Treated to a Production of OMAM

Y10 GCSE English Literature students were treated to a performance of John Steinbeck's novella 'Of Mice and Men' when MANACTCO came to LSA on Friday 28th November.

The production lasted just over an hour and took the students on a journey through California and the lives of George and Lennie. Holding true to the book, the actors were able to give the students a feel for what life was like for the migrant ranch workers and their relationships with those around them. It was an amazing production that was thoroughly enjoyed by all. 

Afterwards, the actors held a Q & A session allowing the pupils to speak to them- both in and out of character. This gave the students a chance to further understand and analyse some of the meanings within John Steinbeck's novella.

 It was a most successful afternoon for all involved!
