Year 8 student, Ellie McNally has taken it upon herself to put others first. Over the last few weeks Ellie has been collecting things to put in a box to help a homeless person. This has included things such as thermal hats, gloves, socks and other essentials along with some treats. She has recently spent some time at Amazing Grace, this is a charity where people meet to have a warm meal and she took this oppurtunity to present them with the box she had put together for them for Christmas.
Through this experience Ellie has learnt that providing a homeless person with a warm drink or some clothing is much more beneficial than giving them money.
Ellie would now like to encourage more LSA students to join her in doing the same, especially over the festive period.
