Today marks the start of this year's WHoW week. During this week we aim to promote and encourage healthy, active lifestyles, emotional health and wellbeing and develop cultural awareness for all students, staff and parents at LSA. This year’s focus is British Values: Democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs.
Monday - English Day
Tuesday - Irish Day
Wednesday - Scottish Day
Thursday - Welsh Day
Friday - British Day
There's a number of activities lined up throughout the week. Mr Spacey is playing the national songs from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales over the tannoy system every morning & we'll be flying the Union Jack. A free breakfast is available every morning from the canteen.
Today after school (3:30pm) our Teachers & Staff will be taking part in a 5km Race for Life to raise money for Cancer Research. The theme this year is PINK and PATRIOTIC! Pink (for all those of you with pink outfits and accessories and in line with the race theme) and patriotic to tie in with our British Values and Britishness theme for WHoW Week
