Fine Art students at LSA Technology and Performing Arts College have an exhibition of current A level art at Ashton Pavilion, Ashton Gardens, St. Annes, until 13th February.

Students, teachers, families and friends gathered on Thursday 22nd January for a celebration of students work. The students enjoyed light refreshments served by the cafe and were very pleased to see their work displayed to the general public and in such a lovely setting. The work has mainly been produced during the Autumn Term 2014 and is to a very high standard.
The Art Technician, Dawn Carter, said 'I would like to thank all the students, teachers, families and friends for attending the celebration evening. I would also like to thank Phil and Corrin Green of the Pavilion, for giving us the opportunity to put this exhibition up at their lovely cafe. It is a beautiful space and the students work looks fantastic.'
The Event has been running for a full six weeks and has attracted press coverage from the LSA Express, and has been featured twice on the school website.
This has been the first collaboration between the Art Department and the Pavilion Cafe. Dawn Carter said 'The event has been a great success, the students have gained the valuable experience of exhibiting their work. I hope we can organise further exhibitions at the Pavilion.'
