It may be the end of a gruelling long term but teachers a LSA Technology & Performing Arts College still had the energy to face the sixth form  X-Factor type judges in the show ' Teachers Got Talent'

To a packed, sold-out audience of students, the teachers strutted their stuff.  Talent ranging from dazzling musical performances, dancing (including a tap-dancing troupe who have been practising for months as they had never tapped before) lots of humour and even a funny poem!  Teachers dressed the part and became celebrities in their own right!   Three sixth form judges did the Simon Cowell on the contestants to the delight of the students.

All this was to raise money for the' Build a School' initiative to help fund the building of classrooms in Malawi   A large group of 6th formers have taken on the task of organising a series of money raising schemes. This was the biggest money raiser so far.   The total raised since September is now over £1,300!

One of the judges said "It was a brilliant show.  The audience went wild with enthusiasm.  The teachers were really good sports and actually the teachers did have talent!"
