Year 7 Geography students have been getting hands on with their learning as part of a unit exploring weather tools and how they are used to measure different weather conditions.
As part of the project, students designed and built their own weather instruments, including rain gauges, wind vanes and anemometers. Alongside this, they created informative posters explaining what each tool measures and why it is important in understanding the weather.
The project encouraged creativity, problem solving and scientific thinking, with students taking great pride in both the construction of their models and the quality of their written work. The finished tools and posters were proudly presented in class, showcasing the excellent effort and enthusiasm shown by the group.
Well done to all Year 7 students involved for their fantastic work and engagement in Geography lessons.
