Students across Key Stage 3 recently took part in The 1% Club, a Maths Department House event designed to test problem-solving, logic and reasoning skills.
The competition was split into two events, one for Year 7 and one combining Years 8 and 9, with students answering a series of increasingly challenging questions. Teams worked their way through the rounds, aiming to score as many points as possible for their House Teams.
The event encouraged students to think carefully, work under pressure and apply their mathematical reasoning in a fun and competitive environment. Engagement was high throughout, with pupils showing great focus, teamwork and determination.
