The prize winners and their families attended a prestigious awards ceremony at Lytham Heritage Centre on Tuesday evening, 14th March. Art Teaching staff, members of the Senior Leadership team and the Head Teacher were delighted to be there to congratulate our very talented students.
The Prizes were presented by the Mayor and Mayoress to celebrate the success of the students at ‘A Celebration of Art’ exhibition.
Matthew Dinsdale won Best in Year 10 – 11 with his Pencil portrait ‘Burnout’.
Natalie Spencer won Best Textile with her Yarn Art ‘Wok Inn’.
Sian Braithwaite won Highly Commended with her Mixed Media ‘Parrot’.
We currently have over 30 students’ artwork on show in the month-long exhibition, which runs until the 25th of March. We encourage everyone to go and see the exhibition.
