Teacher of the Year in a Secondary School!!

We are so excited and thrilled to announce that Mrs Pountney, Head of History, has been awarded the Pearson National Teaching Awards Certificate of Excellence for Teacher of the Year in a secondary school!

The presentation was made to her this morning and she was genuinely shocked. She also received a letter from the author and playwright, Michael Morpurgo.

Mrs Pountney was nominated by her colleague, Ms Craddock (History Teacher) for her outstanding support for both students and teachers.
