We are so sorry to write, but we have made the difficult decision to postpone our Open Evening for prospective families this year. This is due to difficulties faced in running such a big and busy event now that the building work has started.
We are so proud of our school and we want everyone to see what makes our school special. Even though we have been one of Lancashire’s most popular schools for a number of years, we always want families to feel confident they are choosing the right school. I believe the Open Evening is traditionally the start of your relationship with us.
Whilst we can never replicate the buzz, excitement and fun of an open evening, we will be providing a number of videos, presentations and opportunities to talk to us over the coming weeks. Please take some time to read, listen, watch and see if we can show you the best that we have to offer. With some of the highest numbers of first choices across Lancashire, we know that you will want to know as much as possible before naming your first choice school.
As a parent in this area, you are fortunate to have such excellent choices. The town is served by fantastic primary schools and the secondary schools get to work with such amazing children. As a parent, you are in the wonderful position of being able to choose between great schools based on what you want, knowing there will be a place for your child. Therefore, whilst not being able to have everyone on site is regrettable, you can be assured by the years of strong achievement and wonderful care that take place daily.
