Year 7 students were treated to a lively and engaging performance this morning, designed to help them think carefully about road safety and the choices they make when travelling to and from school.
Using humour, drama and relatable scenarios, the performance explored a range of important topics including mobile phone use near roads, staying aware of surroundings, crossing safely, avoiding distractions, understanding the dangers of stepping into the road without looking, and considering the actions of drivers, cyclists and other road users.
The session gave students the opportunity to see how quickly everyday distractions can become dangerous and reinforced the importance of remaining alert and making sensible decisions around traffic.
It was an entertaining and memorable way to deliver an important safety message, and we would like to thank the performers for providing such an energetic and valuable session for our Year 7 students.
