Last week, a group of LSA students enjoyed an exciting and educational visit to London, with a packed itinerary that brought their learning to life beyond the classroom.
The day began with a visit to the Houses of Parliament, where students explored one of the most iconic and important buildings in the UK. They were able to see key areas including the House of Lords and learn more about how the country is governed. Although photography is not permitted inside Parliament, the experience left a lasting impression on everyone involved.
Following the tour, students took part in an engaging workshop where they created their own petitions for change. This gave them the opportunity to think about issues that matter to them and understand how they can have a voice in shaping the future. It was fantastic to see students so engaged, thoughtful and confident in expressing their ideas.
The trip continued with a visit to the Natural History Museum, where students explored a wide range of fascinating exhibits, linking their experiences back to their studies and broadening their understanding of the world around them.
Throughout the day, students represented LSA brilliantly. Their behaviour, attitude and enthusiasm were outstanding, and they were a real credit to the school.
A big thank you goes to all staff who organised and supported the trip, making it such a memorable and valuable experience for everyone involved.
