A Final Goodbye to Our Wonderful Year 11s

On Thursday, we said a heartfelt goodbye to our fantastic Year 11 students on their final official day at LSA.

In true LSA tradition, the whole school came together to clap them out – a moment filled with cheers, applause, and a few emotional goodbyes. It was a fitting send-off for a year group that has given so much to our school over the past five years.

From their very first day in Year 7 to their final exam season, this cohort has shown resilience, humour, and a real sense of unity. They’ve been outstanding role models to younger students, brilliant ambassadors for LSA, and – above all – a credit to themselves and their families.

It’s never easy to say goodbye, but Thursday was not just an ending – it was the start of something new. Whether moving on to college, apprenticeships, work, or other exciting adventures, we know our Year 11s will go on to achieve incredible things.

A huge thank you to the staff who’ve supported them throughout their journey, and to the families who’ve been with us every step of the way.
