Y7 Meet the Form Tutor Evening is a Parents' consultation with a difference. Rather than the usual event during which parents meet all subject teachers, parents have a meeting with the form tutor. The evening is focused on ensuring that the student has settled into secondary school and feels safe and happy. We also provide opportunities for parents to meet the staff which deliver a range of other services in school, including the head of college, attendance team, learning support staff, mentoring and pyramid club staff and the catering team. There is further time set aside to support parents in getting logged onto sims learning gateway so they can check data on their son or daughter securely online and to see how our virtual learning environment, 'Moodle' can be used to support learning.
