Two of our students attended an evening organised by the Mathematics Education on Merseyside at Liverpool University to celebrate their success in the optional homework tasks.
On Thursday evening, 3rd May, the private view of B&FC 'Young Artist of the Year' presentation evening was held and LSA had four Year 11 students pieces selected for exhibition and were awarded highly commended certificates.
The Attendance Team ran a competition where students had to attend school every day for 6 weeks. 11MRO (Curie College) were the best attending form!
We launched a fantastic competition for 5 lucky students to find out what nationalities are in their DNA tracing back over hundreds of years! The competition winners received their DNA testing kit yesterday.

The Attendance Team ran a competition between 29th January and 13th April where students were asked to pick a partner and for them to both be in every day, on time during this period to win £100 to share.
A Year 11 student who is an Army Cadet has been selected to go to Canada during Summer for the International Cadet Exchange Expedition. Only 12 Army Cadets in the whole country are selected for this!

A student walked 13 miles for Bradley Lowery in July 2017 from St. Annes to Fleetwood Town Football Club, raising £765.58 and now he is striving to raise even more money.
