Two Lytham St Annes High School students have been recognised for their outstanding performances in this year's Poetry by Heart competition, earning praise for their exceptional entries.
Poetry by Heart is a national competition that celebrates the art of learning and performing poetry by heart. Students are challenged to interpret and recite poems with confidence, expression and understanding, showcasing both their performance skills and appreciation of literature.
Although our students did not take home the overall top prize, their performances were recognised as being among the strongest entries in the competition. This is a fantastic achievement and reflects the dedication, preparation and enthusiasm they demonstrated throughout the process.
To celebrate their success, the students were presented with certificates by Headteacher Mr Corbett, recognising the high standard of their performances and the positive way they represented Lytham St Annes High School.
Everyone at LSA is incredibly proud of both students for embracing this opportunity and representing the school with confidence, creativity and professionalism. Their achievement is a wonderful example of the talent and commitment shown by our students both inside and outside the classroom.
Congratulations to both students on this well-deserved recognition.
