Students and staff have been reliving the highlights of this year's Duke of Edinburgh's Award expedition through a special DofE Tour 2026 video, showcasing the unforgettable experiences, challenges and achievements from across the trip.

The video combines footage captured using drones and cameras throughout the expedition, providing stunning views of the landscapes and a unique perspective on the journey. This year also saw an exciting new addition, with students being given personal handheld cameras to record their own experiences. The result is an authentic and engaging insight into expedition life, allowing viewers to see the adventure through the eyes of the participants themselves.

The Duke of Edinburgh's Award remains one of the most popular programmes at LSA, with students eagerly taking part each year. The award provides young people with opportunities to develop independence, resilience, teamwork and leadership skills while challenging themselves in unfamiliar environments. From navigating routes and carrying equipment to supporting one another through difficult moments, students gain valuable life skills that extend far beyond the expedition.

The footage highlights not only the stunning scenery and physical challenges of the tour but also the friendships, determination and sense of achievement that make DofE such a rewarding experience. It serves as a reminder of why the programme continues to be such an important part of school life and remains highly valued by students year after year.

A huge congratulations to all students who took part in this year's expedition and a thank you to the dedicated staff who helped make the experience possible. We hope everyone enjoys looking back on another fantastic DofE adventure through the Tour 2026 video.
