UCLan Supports Year 11 Biology Students with Revision and Future Pathways

As part of our ongoing support for Year 11 students in the lead-up to their GCSE examinations, we were pleased to welcome representatives from the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) to LSA.

Students attended an informative and engaging session focused on effective revision strategies for GCSE Biology. The session provided practical tips on how to revise more efficiently, structure learning, and retain key information, helping students to feel more confident and prepared ahead of their exams.

In addition to revision guidance, students also gained valuable insight into life beyond high school. The UCLan team shared their experiences of college and university, offering advice on pathways, expectations, and the opportunities available to students as they continue their educational journey.

The session was extremely well received, with students benefiting from both the academic support and the opportunity to start thinking about their next steps.
