Students Excel in UKMT Maths Challenge

Our students recently took part in the prestigious UKMT Mathematical Challenge, a national competition designed to encourage mathematical thinking and problem solving among students across the UK.

The challenge, organised by the United Kingdom Mathematics Trust, tests students’ ability to apply logic, reasoning, and creativity to a series of demanding mathematical problems. It is widely recognised as one of the UK’s leading maths competitions and attracts participation from hundreds of thousands of students each year.

We are delighted to share that a large number of LSA students achieved Gold and Silver awards, an excellent accomplishment given the high standard of the competition. These awards place students among the strongest performers nationally and reflect both their mathematical ability and dedication.

The results are a testament to the hard work and enthusiasm of our students, as well as the support and guidance provided by the mathematics department.

Congratulations to all students who took part in the challenge. Their success is another fantastic example of the academic excellence and curiosity that we celebrate at LSA.
