This week’s assemblies focused on Holocaust Memorial Day, providing students with time to reflect on the devastating impact of genocide, both past and present.

Mr Corbett delivered a powerful and thought-provoking message exploring the 10 stages of genocide, helping students understand how such atrocities develop and why early warning signs must never be ignored. The assemblies examined the events of World War Two and the Holocaust, while also drawing attention to ongoing genocides and humanitarian crises in parts of Africa today.

By linking historical events with current global issues, students were encouraged to reflect on the importance of remembrance, education, and standing up against discrimination and injustice in all its forms.
