Microsoft Teams

Microsoft Teams is the main platform we use at Lytham St Annes High School to support both in-school and home learning. Every student is given access to their own school Teams account, which they can log into using their school email address.

Teams is used by teachers to share lesson resources, homework, and announcements. Each class has its own dedicated Team, where students can find their assignments, take part in discussions, and access class materials at any time. Teachers may also use Teams to post feedback or hold live sessions when needed.

Students are expected to check Teams regularly to stay organised and up to date with their subjects. If a student is absent from school, Teams is a valuable tool to help them keep up with work they may have missed. The platform is also accessible from home on a phone, tablet, or computer, making it easy for students and parents to stay informed.

Synergy Student App

The Synergy app is our central hub for managing key aspects of student life at LSA High School. This platform allows students and parents to stay informed about attendance, timetables, reports, and more.

Through the app, students can:

  • View their timetable and room changes

  • Track their attendance

  • See school reports

  • Monitor achievement points and behaviour logs

  • Keep up to date with extracurricular activities and clubs

Parents and carers are also encouraged to use the Synergy Parent App to receive notifications, view key information, and stay engaged with their child’s school journey.

The app is available to download for free from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Login details are provided by school once a student is enrolled.
