Dementia Fundraiser Day in Memory of Bruce’s Late Wife – Sunday 20th July

We’re proud to share that Bruce Garner, who runs the tennis club here at LSA, is hosting a special Dementia Awareness Day on Sunday, 20th July, in loving memory of his late wife.

The event will take place right here at LSA from 1:30pm to 5:30pm, and promises to be a fun-filled afternoon for a fantastic cause.

There will be plenty of activities for all ages, including:

Longest Tennis Rally (up to 100 hits)
Basketball Loop Challenge – 10 attempts to score
Keepie-Uppies with a Football
Golf Chip Challenge – 10 chances to land a ball in the basket

As well as these challenges, there’ll be raffles with amazing prizes, generously donated by teams including Manchester United and Blackpool FC.

All proceeds from the day will go towards Alzheimer’s Research UK, and Bruce has set up a JustGiving page for anyone who would like to support the cause
