The PTFA are an active and friendly (but small) group who meet monthly in the Library at school, where we discuss potential fund raising events and organise regular ones, decide upon requests for funding and generally get involved in school life. Mr Wood attends every meeting and often keeps the PTFA informed on topics and issues that concern school ahead of newsletters and other communications with parents. The meetings are informal and all parents are welcome and automatically a member of the group once they have a child at school.

Being a member of the PTFA is a great opportunity to get involved with your child's school life at whatever level you feel comfortable. Parents are welcome to come to meetings just to listen or to make suggestions and get involved in the various committee groups, or come along to events that are advertised through the website and emails, or get more involved and help to organise events or even serve refreshments at parent’s evenings and other official school events. There is no commitment to come to every meeting or every event, pick and choose, but whatever your level of help and support, in whatever way you can offer it, will most definitely be appreciated.

We would love to see you on the 15th. Come along and meet other parents in a relaxed and informal way, and see what the PTFA are about.
