Two of Lytham St Annes High School's brightest talents, Harrison and Rico, recently had the honour of representing Blackpool FC in exhilarating matches against football giants Liverpool and Manchester City.
Despite an impressive start, with Blackpool FC leading 1-0 against Liverpool at halftime, the match ended with a 3-1 scoreline favouring Liverpool. However, the resilience and skill displayed by Harrison and Rico throughout the game were commendable.
In another thrilling encounter against Manchester City, the match proved to be highly competitive, with both teams giving their all on the pitch. Despite their best efforts, Blackpool FC narrowly lost 1-0 to Manchester City.
This experience served as a valuable learning opportunity for the two talented LSA footballers, pitting their skills against some of the finest young footballers in the country. Their dedication, determination, and sportsmanship reflect positively not only on themselves but also on Lytham St Annes High School.
