Arizona (a Year 11 student) is an army cadet who has been selected to go to Canada during Summer 2018 for the International Cadet Exchange Expedition. Only 12 Army Cadets in the whole country are selected for this! Over 80 Cadets went on a selection weekend in Spring where they did several competitive fitness activities, afterwards only 12 were selected to progress further (to Canada!).

During their time in Canada, the cadets will experience activities and enhance skills in watermanship, camping expeditions, wilderness first aid, hiking, bike maintenance and riding skills, abseiling, rock climbing, marksmanship and canoeing. The courses also included an element of drill, citizenship and community activities and physical fitness and gives cadets a chance to meet other young people from around the world.

Congratulation Arizona and enjoy Canada!
