8 March 2018

Today is International Women's Day, it is over 100 years old and has been celebrated on 8th March since 1914! At LSA we will be celebrating the achievements of women across all fields from engineering, maths, science, sport to composers, artists and Nobel Prize winners.

We will be spending form time discussing why we still need to "Press for Progress", spend lessons with a few subject focused PowerPoints and on Friday 9th March there will be an assembly focused on "Press for progress". We will continue these tasks throughout next week with a follow up form task where representatives from every form will be leading their classmates in deciding what we will do here at LSA to Press for Progress! These tasks will be used to celebrate International Women's Day, educate students and promote equality.
