20 October 2017

On 16th October we began our exciting FIFA 18 tournament week to raise money for Marie curie.

All week we had lots of students offering their FIFA skills for a fantastic cause and they were supported by their friends and peers who were cheering to encourage them. There was such an amazing atmosphere and the room was filled with so much energy and enthusiasm.

On Wednesday and Thursday Sam Lavelle and Rhys Turner, who are professional footballers from Morecombe FC, came into school to give students a chance to play against them. And then on Friday Michael Donohue & Ashley Nadesan, who are professional footballers from Fleetwood FC, also visited school and played FIFA against students.

We have raised £300 for the Marie Curie Cancer charity, Blackpool FC have donated a signed football shirt and Tesco and Sainsburys have donated £20 each.

A big thank you to everyone who donated some money to this wonderful charity.
