Jason Neville has had a phenomenal 2018/19 in Tae Kwon-Do achievements and in recognition of this he has been shortlisted for the Fylde Sports Awards Young Achiever of the Year Award, where the winner will be announced at an awards ceremony in November.  Jason has been a dedicated member of Lytham Tae Kwon-Do since the age of 7, but only entered his first ever competition last year at age 14 when his instructors entered him into the Tae Kwon-Do Association of Great Britain (TAGB) Tae Kwon-Do World Championships where he achieved a silver medal (2nd in the world).  Since then Jason has won medals and trophies at EVERY competition he has entered, in events including sparring, tag team sparring and the Ultimate Striker power events. He has achieved 12 gold, 5 silver and 1 bronze in regional, national and international Tae Kwon-Do competitions during 2018/19. In addition to his World silver medal, Jason has been crowned; triple Midlands Champion, Scottish Champion, double English Champion, triple Welsh Champion and triple British Champion!  Besides Jason’s competition success, 2018/19 has also seen Jason achieve two high level gradings including 1st Dan Black Belt and undertake the TAGB course to become a qualified Tae Kwon-Do Class Assistant with which he volunteers every week to teach the younger students.  To achieve so much in one year is among many reasons why Jason has made it to the final three shortlisted for the award.
