Girls from year 10 and 11 have been invited to attend the International Women’s Day Festival in March. In preparation for the festival the students have met with female role model Anna Blackburn Managing Director at Beaverbrooks. The students interviewed Anna about her ambitions and aspirations and how she has become the first female Managing Director. The students where fascinated by Anna’s journey from shop floor to managing director. What an inspiration she was to us all. Thank you Anna
