Sports Awards 2018

There has been outstanding achievement, commitment and contribution within the PE department this year which was celebrated at the Sports Awards Ceremony today.

Students were presented with their awards from Pat Sharples (a Team GB coach) and then cheered on by peers and staff!

A huge variety of sports were represented from cricket to girls football and netball to handball. 

After all the awards had been given out Mr Connaughton was given a huge thank you for all his hard work at LSA over the past few years. He gave a speech "Nobody remembers a loser, but you are all winners and I will remember everyone for their contribution and dedication!".
