A huge well done to all who took part in our 1k & 5k school fun run over the weekend! There was a fantastic atmosphere and brilliant support from all who was involved! Thanks to the PTFA for all your hard work leading up to the event!

The day was a great success with over 100 runners who started the 5k Run. The 1k run also had lots of runners with the youngest being just 2 years old!! A number of teachers ran, not just from the PE department,  and Mr Cubbon led the pack this year on his bike, riding in front to map out the route.  The races were set off by Mr Connaughton’s inimitable style on the microphone and cheers and whoops of encouragement were plentiful as the runners all crossed the finish line to receive a certificate and congratulations form supportive friends and family. There were some really good times clocked up with the fastest being recorded by LSA student Alistair Leives at 18.47. The day was a fabulous team effort with teachers, staff, parents, family and friends, students and even dogs all joining in together making it a day to remember in raising funds for the school and showing the community what LSATPAC is made of!!
