Image of A New Venture For A Former Student

A former student who launched a plant seedling business aged 11 and expanded his enterprise whilst at our school, will be launching a new venture at the Lytham Hall Estate. 'The Leafy Lytham Garden Hub' opens to the public on Sunday 22nd April with a range of design led planting collections and designer garden gifts.

During his time at LSA, he created the memorial garden at the front of school, as well as transforming the gardens outside the library. He returns to school on Life days to talk to students about enterprise and the benefits of working hard towards a dream.

As well as running the new 'Garden Hub', he is well known for designing and completing planting schemes for businesses like the Queens, Cuffe and Taylor with their 'Lytham Festival Hub', Marc’s Garage and many others. Additionally he designs gardens in and around Lytham, from courtyards to large scale developments.

He said 'My time at LSA prepared me well for running my own business, the staff at school were so supportive of what I was doing and many are still customers today'. He added, 'I'd encourage any student who'd love to run their own business to remember that anything is possible when you put hard work and ambitions together'.

His Leafy Lytham Garden Hub' will be open seven days a week 10:30am - 4:30pm and is located just outside the café at Lytham Hall.

He makes his TV debut on the 23rd April, on ‘Britain in Bloom’ which looks at various towns and their ‘In Bloom’ work.  The programme is on BBC2, Mondays at 6.30 .
