This year British Science Week was celebrated on 9th - 18th March 2018. In order to promote our unique subject the science department celebrated this week with a number of activities that included:
- Assemblies about the science of the brain
- Science facts and a Science Week video presented by the form tutors
- Year 7 investigated how to prepare for a polar expedition
- Year 8 investigated the science involved in rockets
- Year 9 investigated the science involved in dyes
- Guess what competition to identify the magnified pictures

British Science week poster competition
We entered 5 posters based on the theme of Exploration and Discovery into the British Science week poster competition. We are waiting to hear if any of our posters have been successful and been selected for any prizes.
