This week all our Year 11 Art and Design students have been completing their GCSE Art and Design artwork and some of their artwork has been submitted for the Blackpool and Fylde Young Artist of the Year 2018 which will take place in May.
A Year 11 Art and Design student, said "Doing GCSE Art has allowed me to explore different styles of art and create experimental pieces".
Another Year 11 Art and Design student, said "GCSE Art has been an enjoyable experience and has allowed me to explore different mediums and progress in my abilities"
Mr Lonsdale, Head of Art, said "Every year I am really pleased to see all our students' creative ideas and hardwork come together in some outstanding artwork, the talent and creativity on show is expectional".
