The PTFA have been involved in many different projects over the years, the most recent ones include the ongoing Library Refurbishment (which you can read about here) and the school stage upgrade.
Over the last couple of years they have contributed quite a significant amount towards to the upgrade of the stage, which includes replacing the old curtains with brand new ones and also replaced the opening mechanism as well as a skirt made for the front of the stage. More recently over the summer, the sound system and the lighting has had some refurbishment. Further down the line, the final step in this project will be to refloor the stage and paint the stage and wings for which the PTFA will help raise more funds.
From the very beginning the idea for this amazing space was to breath a new sense of life into it by updating the furnishings and the equipment to provide a high quality experience for everyone. This, like the library, has been an ongoing project and will continue to be one for some time.
