The PTFA annual summer ball was held at the Clifton Arms Hotel in Lytham on July 8th 2016. The event was a huge success with the fabulous music, food and dancing continuing into the early hours.
One standout moment was the diamond necklace competition. Guests were offered the chance to buy an elegant replica diamond necklace for the reasonable sum of £25. Later, one lucky winner was thrilled to find out that she had purchased the necklace containing a real diamond!
An auction took place on the night with prizes such as a weekend hire of a Maserati and a meal at Heathcotes restaurant being some of the top picks.
A table of teachers were in a party mood and danced the night away in fine style!
Over 130 guests enjoyed the 2016 Summer Ball which turned out to be record breaking with a phenomenal total of £5,000 raised.
The PTFA would like to say a massive thank you to all supporters and guests for coming along to the evening and making the 2016 Summer Ball such a big success.
Book early next year to avoid disappointment!
The money raised has been put towards the ongoing Library Refurbishment Project which began over the summer holidays. Other upcoming event which will also contribute to this fund include the Chocolate Evening on October 19th and the Stringers Shopping Evening on December 8th.
