20 September 2016

The first 'LIFE' Flexible Learning Day of the academic year took place on Monday 19th September 2016.
Throughout the day students across all year groups were taught valuable lessons surrounding life issues.
The variety of topics covered was vast, ranging from friendships and money in Year 7, alcohol and the world in Year 9, up to revision and relationships in Year 11.
Students spent periods 1-4 with their LIFE teacher and the last hour was spent with their form tutor. During the day, students engaged in discussions, took part in activities and watched film clips to aid their learning of important cultural and personal topics.

There will be three more FLD's across the year, this allows students to gain an insight into all topics taught to their year group and these days are already proving to be invaluable.
