Outstanding LSA sportsmen and women students received their awards, to a packed audience of their peers, this week. Presenting the awards to the students was Ryan De La Harpe, the Namibian International rugby player.
Ryan said "This was a humbling experience to meet up with so many enthusiastic and high achieving young people in such a friendly school. My advice to these young people is to have a dream and go for it. Never be negative. Always take the next positive step until you reach your ultimate goal."
Head of PE, Kelly Gore said "We have had a wonderful year with rounders champions in every year and Year 7 netball champions too. The students have shown brilliant commitment, always willing to join in!"
At the end of the presentation the audience of students were treated to pizzas!
