Joie de vivre

An opportunity to immerse themselves in French culture, attend a French school and stay with a French family for six days, was seized by ten LSA Year 7 students in the first ever visit to France outside of Comenius rather than travel around the country.  They had a fantastic time joining in activities and making friends.  Though there was no language requirement to go on the trip, the students did feel that their language skills improved.

Sandra Underwood, School Link Coordinator, said "This trip was the first of its kind as we linked with College Notre Dame in Bressuire.  The students were encouraged to experience living with a French family and make friends with their student counterparts in the school.  They made memories which will stay with them  for ever.
