Rooted In Reading
We introduced the new 'Rooted in Reading' Passport scheme to our incoming Year 6 students in June 2012. You have now received your second Passport from Form Tutors and will gradually complete the sections as you read books, magazines, comics and newspapers.
You will achieve awards and be entered into prizes from the Library by:
Completing each section of your passport as you read.
Collect progress stamps from the Library.
Get advice from family, teachers or the Library on reading choices when needed.
Achieve award certificates for each 5 sections completed.
Enter individual, form and college prizes by successfully tackling the Passport challenges.
By successfully completing you passport in the Spring Term you will progress onto your next Reading Challenge.
